A Note From Kim and Kyle

Thanks for visiting our wedding blog!

Between now and the big day, we (well…mostly Kim) will be posting information about the wedding and some fun info about Nashville, too. We hope you'll check back often, and we especially hope to see you in October!

We're Here!

We landed in Sydney this morning at 6:30 a.m. (Australian time, which is around 4:30 p.m. Nashville time). After breezing through customs (which were so easy; they didn't even scan our luggage! And I threw away a pack of M&M's, which I now regret, but anyways…), we picked up our rental car and headed out. We quickly realized our dependence on technology when the rental car company was out of GPS units and were forced to rely on a good ole' fashioned map.

We then checked into our hotel; it's modest at best, but pleasant and quiet. Took some showers and headed out to enjoy the wine region. It's unreal. Seriously. There are grapevines EVERYWHERE you look!

It's early spring here in Australia, so the grape vines are just coming out of dormancy. I can't imagine how beautiful it must be to look and see acres (err...hectares) of grapes growing on the vines.

Visited three wineries today, and we are tired and full of wonderful wine. Their wines are unbelievably delicious. If it weren't for customs regulations, I would be bringing cases home. Already bought two bottles to bring home. Delish! You'll all have to come and taste it for yourselves. It's wonderful.

Tomorrow is filled with more wine-tasting and exploration of this region. It's absolutely gorgeous! Will post pictures to prove it tomorrow!

Local time is 3:50 p.m., and we are fighting to stay awake. Hope we get adjusted to the time change soon.

And hope each of you are having a great week! More updates to come tomorrow!

Love!
Kim and Kyle

P.S. We are also shooting some videos, but our Internet connection in Pokolbin is not very good. Will upload those tomorrow (if it works) or when we get to Sydney on Friday.
