On Friday, we traveled from Hunter Valley to Sydney, taking the long way, of course. We left Pokolbin, went through Newcastle and an area known as the Central Coast, then back down to Sydney. It was BEAUTIFUL! The road was a windy, curvy path through the countryside, and every once in a while, you would catch glimpses of the Tasman Sea and inland lakes.
We stopped for lunch in Terrigal, which seemed to be a year-round seaside attraction. Beautiful beaches and lots of dining facing the ocean.

Then off to Sydney. We returned the car to the airport, jumped in a cab and checked into our Sydney hotel.
Last night, we explored the Darling Harbour area. There are no words to describe it…only pictures:
