A Note From Kim and Kyle

Thanks for visiting our wedding blog!

Between now and the big day, we (well…mostly Kim) will be posting information about the wedding and some fun info about Nashville, too. We hope you'll check back often, and we especially hope to see you in October!

Wedding Registry Guns and Miter Saws

The man (yes, I believe it was a man) who invented the registry gun for department stores was a genius! Soon-to-be-married men all over the U.S. are now willing to tag along and pick out crystal and bath towels, since it means they get to shoot guns.

And Kyle has been no exception.

In fact, I consider him one of the luckier guys. When we first started discussing what items we would register for, Kyle mentioned that he "sure would like to have some tools" for his new workshop at the house. Craftsman tools at that. So we did a little research and found out that Sears does wedding registries!

Yes, we now have one. And yes, there is a miter saw on there. A Craftsman 15 amp 10" Compound Miter Saw, to be exact!

A traditional registry, it is not. But considering that we are (slowly) remodeling our house and that Kyle has his own workshop in the basement, I think it's perfectly us.
